Zoe de Haas is a recent addition to the Dust Devils' roster, having performed well in simulator tryouts for the unit's small training cadre.

MRBC Dossier - 3065[]

Biography[]

It is known that Zoe de Haas was born on Itrom in the Aurigan Coalition, but beyond that little documentation on her background exists within MRBC systems beyond the bare minimum required for good standing with the organization. This isn't unusual for those new to the career as a whole, but specifically a Mechwarrior without some formally documented military service, family history, or attendance at an established training facility is something of an anomoly. Whatever the case, de Haas has apparently shown some promise in the Devils' own training programs, winning a seat in one of the unit's surplus BattleMechs and assignment to their auxiliary Star.

BattleMech[]

As a member of Tumbler Star, de Haas fights from the cockpit of an unusual sight in an independent unit: an MCY-99 Mercury she dubbed "Elektra". Where the Devils acquired a chassis once thought extinct in the Inner Sphere and currently almost never seen outside of the Comm Guards or Word of Blake Militia isn't known, but as is typical of their machines the venerable oddity is well-maintained and equipped.

As is typical for the machines in use by Tumbler Star, Elektra has not been upgraded with Clantech equipment, though it has benefited from enhancements that make it superior to the stock MCY-99. The engine was upgraded to an XL version, allowing for the addition of a trio of jumpjets to add even more mobility to the swift design and a full four tons of Standard armor in place of the stock three tons of ferro-fibrous for additional protection (and better logistical support). The stock lasers have been replaced with extended-range models, and finally a Guardian ECM Suite was installed to give the machine more protection.

Elektra is painted in a base of the Devils' typical camel, with lightning-bolt patterns around the lower limbs in coral over a granite houndstooth pattern.
