Overview[]
War on the Horizon is a character driven story where a ship of the mercenary unit The Marksman hailing from the Battletech universe crosses over to the Star Wars Universe setting written by author, MarkWarrior.
The story itself is a spin-off of his original story, Blood on the Horizon which features the same mercenary company, this story is a "What If" take featuring these characters.

Events accruing prior to 3007 remain the same as they do in Canon.
Author's Introduction[]
Instead of continuing their adventures through the Inner Sphere as they did in Blood on the Horizon, our crew of Marksman find themselves transported to a different Galaxy. A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away shortly after they take a bite out of the Big Mac for the first time. Hope you're ready for the ride, because Blood and Cred are worth far more here than they ever were in the Inner Sphere.
