War of 3056 Military Operations, Volume 1 is a in-universe military historical campaign publication (also known as Overview of AFFC Operations During the War of 3056) which it details the beginning of combat operations of Inner Sphere in retaliation against the Clans from years 3053 til 3057.
The book is part of series of historical military campaign books detailing Federated Commonwealth and Clans actions during this time period. It also notes other conflicts that accrued during this time military code named: Clover Spear.
The source book is detail account of the military campaign present in the fan story, Clover Spear - The Story of the '56 War created by Battletech Fan Writer, Jason Weiser. Also included in the book are unique rules and some equipment exclusive to the setting.
