Overview[]
A creation of 2ndAcr, the Vincent-Class Mk 39b Destroyer is a WarShip design produced in the Fate Can Be Cruel/Hegemony AU's Star League. The ship is modification of the original Mk39 Class Corvette, where it's main weaponry has been broaden to include combination of Capital scale Energy, Ballistic, and Missile weapon system. The ship was built in 2780 near the end of the Star League Civil War. The ship continued to be used after the secret migration of the people of the Terran Hegemony to remote location in the Deep Periphery where new Hegemony was established.
Armament and Equipment[]
Retaining the size and tonnage of the original Mk39 Corvette, the ship's firepower was enhanced for it's role as a Destroyer. Ship's principle forward arc long range firepower comes from use of light Capital grade Barracuda Class Missiles mounted in it's nose. The launcher has 20 rounds of fire before exhausting it's inventory of missiles.
Complimenting ship's forward missile launchers are pair of Class 10 Naval Auto Cannons (NAC/10) in each side front arc with six Large Lasers providing anti-aerospace fighter coverage. The forward side cannons have been given 100 tons of ammunition.
Each of it's broadsides the ship mounts a trio of Class 20 Naval Auto Cannons with six Large Lasers. The NAC/20s been allotted 48 tons of ammunition for 120 shots.
Rearward, the ship has four Class 55 Naval Lasers in each of it's side rear arch and aft firing archs complimented with six Large Lasers.
Vincent's hull has been fitted with by 335 tons of ferro-carbide armor. With 20% more armor on it's nose, while rest of the ship's hull has even proportion of armor.
Like most ships in Star League service, the ship has been fitted with Mobile Hyperpulse Generator (Mobile HPG) and Lithium-Fusion Battery to allow for rapid deployment another solar system or in-system pirate point if needed.
