Overview[]
The Typhon-Class Destroyer is a WarShip produced as replacement SLDF era Essex II and Lola III'-Class Destroyers that remain in service of the Clans. Designed at the end of the Civil War Era, the ship was designed by Scientist of Clan Snow Raven for their New WarShip Program, while the class was named by their Khan.
Armaments and Capacities[]
Protecting the hull is 868 tons Lamellor Ferro-carbide armor, with nearly even protection. It's engines are create enough thrust to move the ship at speeds that of a speedy cruiser.
Designed as a generalist in nature, the destroyer focus most of it's Capital grade firepower to it's forward and front side arc, with four NAC/30 autocannons, with six Class 35 Naval Lasers which also provides long range firepower to the 30s close range damage. Each of the ship's forward side arcs have three Capital Missile Launchers, able fire full range of Killer Whale, White Shark, and Barracuda missiles with foursome of Class-45 Naval Lasers. The broadsides has three Medium Naval PPCs and Class 35 Naval Lasers, with pair of Medium Naval Gauss Rifles per arc.
The ship's aft sides, Have a brace of four Class 45 Naval Lasers, with pair of AR10 Multi-Capital Missile Launchers. While the aft of the ship is protected by two pairs of Class 55 Naval Laser for long range fire support with additional four Medium Naval PPCs.
