The Highlander Way is a fan story featuring one of the storied mercenary units of the BattleTech Universe, The Northwind Highlanders.
Written by Daniel Morgan (Also known as The MadScot), this story focus on the action taken by segement of Northwind Highlanders whom had not champion the idea of joining Federated Suns for chance claim their ancestral world of Northwind.
Canonicity[]
This consider a parallel story to canon, while making it's own tale, much of major events of canon BattleTech universe were left intact with only changes based on characters/group of the story itself.
