The Fourth Succession War (Kaptyen Universe) is first entry in series of Fan-Made sourcebooks set in the The Kapteyn Universe (abbreviated TKU) created by Battletech Fan Matthew "Blacknova" Alexander. Set in the end of the Succession Wars era of the Kapteyn Universe, the effects of the The Other Option novel series effectively changed canon to have very different outcome for the Fourth Succession War.

The book acts as campaign guide for players whom may want participate in the war, see the movement of armies and major events which happen during the war.
