Overview[]
The Federated Suns Reborn is a chronological / Event driven tale of the rebirth of the Federated Suns in the wake of the break up of the short-lived lived super-state, Federated Commonwealth. The story is worded not unlike a abstract report of military and development changes primary focus on the Federated Suns with chapters-stories focusing on important events in story. The original story is told per month mainly over the years, but later chapters are told per month and highlighted sections for events.
The story first posted on the Bg.Battletech.com/forums in 2019 by Billy Boy Mark II. It is presented here at request of his fans and permission of the author.
Canonicity[]
Events prior to the year 3060 remain the same as they we're in BattleTech Canon. The story differs as Katherine Steiner-Davion tries to take control of the FedSuns side of what was the Federated Commonwealth from her younger sister while FedComs lawful leader, Victor Steiner-Davion, leads Second Star League forces to annihilate Clan Smoke Jaguar in distant Clan Space.
Additionally, many of the lead characters in canon have the behaviors slightly changed for sake of plot.
