Description[]

The Teiwaz class was born from the division of the Federated Commonwealth. Originally intended to counter frigates and destroyers being created by traditional enemies of the Commonwealth after the Lyran Alliance split off from the Commenwealth the goal of having a warship to counter the Fox class Corvette until a new Lyran Corvette design could be produced was added. Delays caused by relocating the team, and the Federated Commonwealth's Civil war prevented the launch of the first ships of the class until 3068

Armament[]

Unlike its Federated Suns counterpart, the Pendragon class, The Twiwaz class is intended for close quarters brawling and is armed accordingly. The nose bay has 4 Light Naval PPCs, 1 Heavy Naval Gauss Rifle, and 2 class 55 Naval Lasers while the aft bay replaces the Naval Gauss and one Naval PPC with class 55 Naval Lasers. The four angle bays each contain 1 class 45, 1 class 55, and 3 class 35 Naval Lasers as well as 3 light Naval PPCs while the broadside bays each contain 4 Light Naval PPCs, 1 class 55, and 2 class 35 Naval Lasers. The point defense bays each have 5 Anti-missile systems, 2 ER PPCs, 3 Large Pulse Lasers, 6 Medium Pulse Lasers, and 3 ER Large Lasers.

Cargo[]

The Teiwaz class supports 2 dropships, and carries 12 Aerospace fighters along with 58,903 tons of cargo.

Variants[]

What if Warships remained active verision[]

In this timeline the Teiwaz class came online in the late 3050s. While ships of the class served on both sides of the Fedcom Civil War they were most common in fleets of Kathrine Steiner Loyalists.

Wiki Note[]

  • Image of the Teiwaz is fan-made Fox Class Corvette, the image was used so this article would have the similar enough image showcasing the fan designer's ship.
