Trillian was to put it gently, furious.
"Where is she??"
"Your Majesty, Admiral Ngo left something for you." a nervous, lower-rank enlisted had the balls to speak up.
"Give it to me, do you know where she went?"
"No Majesty." he said, "I was specifically instructed to give this to you and to no-one else."
The packet was thick, stiff, and surprisingly heavy.
"You may go...Corporal?"
"THANKYOUMAJESTY!!" he saluted again, almost with a vibration, before fleeing the offices.
"Steel balls on that one." She commented, "Get his name, I want to put him up for promotion."
She stepped around Sharon's former desk and sat down before opening the packet.
It was a document-hardcopy of fine, almost onionskin like pages of plastic with a coversheet.
