I am the original author, just wanted to make a few comments. The locations and politcal situations are modelled on the classic B Tech game manuals. The mechs and vehicles are also classic B Tech. Some of the flavor of the Mech combat is based on the MechWarrior computer games, but the damage mnodel and ranges are classic B Tech. I added some of my own stuff that seemed to fit like my assumptions on advanced infantry gear / weapons but for the most part my goal was to stay as true to the original source material as possible.
