Abbeville Mission 2[]
- 2nd Mission Fortification
- With the Refining Factory in the control of the WOB they are now pushing towards the city to break through the defensive perimeter
- Map Construction
- This map should be constructed like a wall surrounding a city. In this interpretation it was made so there was a gap for construction equipment and that is where the Blakists were targeting.
- Outside the wall should be trees and hills, inside should be buildings.
- WOB Objectives
- Primary (100 points):
- Break The Line: Get 75% of forces past the defensive wall
- Road to Paradise: Destroy/Cripple 50% of Nomad force BV by turn 8
- Secondary (50 points):
- Get Physical: 25 points per successful physical attack
- Get Intel: Scan three buildings
- Last Man Standing: More tonnage not destroyed or in forced withdrawal
- Primary (100 points):
- Nomad Republic Objectives
- Primary (100 points)
- Hold The Line: Put 75% of enemy BV into forced withdrawal
- Delaying Tactics: Destroy/Cripple two enemy officers (one if there is only one)
- Secondary (50 points)
- Discourage Pursuit: Destroy/cripple fastest enemy units (3 units)
- Ferocity: Destroy 50% of enemy BV with less than 50% destroyed/crippled
- Bullet Time: No pilot deaths
- Primary (100 points)
- Deployment:
- WOB is attacker and chooses BV
- WOB begins on side that would be outside of the walls
- Nomad Republic is the defender and is 85% of the Word of Blake BV
- Walled fortification should be about one quarter of the map from the Nomad deployment zone
- Nomad Republic can use hidden units behind or near the fortification
- Game Factors:
- Forced Withdrawal is in Effect
- Conditions of Victory:
- This is a story based mission where the players tell the story, consider these details when running the mission and considering its end point
- Victor is determined by players when it is no longer feasible to hold the field or to accomplish additional objectives for one side.
- Players may be able to make a last ditch effort to save a downed pilot before ceding the battlefield, for example
- Victors:
- If WOB is victorious players move to next battlefield: City
- With the fortified perimeter breached by the WOB, the Nomad survivors fall back to the city
- As the Nomads are leaving the battlefield there are more in the city, so the WOB will not pursue to try to crush them
- If Nomad Republic is victorious they will sally forth and attack the Refining Factory
- Use the same parameters as Mission 1 but the Nomads are the attackers
- If the Nomads win at the Refining Factory, they then push to the LZ
- If WOB is victorious players move to next battlefield: City
