Description[]

Strictly Illegall due to its use of nuclear weapons, the Nadin dropship was self manufactured by the merc unit "Dogs of War" as their personal transport ship. The great advantage the Nadin has over over dropships of its size is that 50% of its weight is armor, although this has the knock on effect that its oversized engines don't make it any faster than normal. The Nadin is designed to withstand a lot of fire, in fact it was once used as a ram to demolish a 'Mech construction plant owned by Wolfs Dragoons.

Armament[]

Virtually a gun with engines, the Nadins weapons are evenly distibuted between the front, back and sides. Front: Two ER Large Lasers act as a deterent to light 'Mechs and vehicles during landing. As its main weapons the Nadin mounts two Naval Lasers of the same type that took down the dropship Hammer. The Nadins most powerful weapon, also the one that makes it illegal, is a Nuclear Missle Launcher with four reloads.

Rear: Six ER Large Lasers give the Nadins rear an unusually high amount of protection, a testament to the thoroughness of the Dogs of War Technicians.

Side: The Nadin has two turrets on each side, each with a 180 degree firing range. Each turret has one Linked Capacitor PPC and one Railgun with 200 Ammo.

Cargo[]

The Nadins cargo bay is relatively small for a 40.000 ton dropship due to the amount of space taken up by armor and weapons but still has enough space to hold the Dogs of War's two Lances of Behemoth II assault 'Mechs.

Variants[]

Due to its one off construction there are no known variants but there is rumour of a second backup ship hidden somewhere in the outer periphery.
