While not intended for combat with other Warships, the ship's does bolster long range anti-capital ship weaponry, with long range Class 55 Naval Lasers.

The Longhaul's hull has been fitted with by 600 tons of improved ferro-aluminum armor. While not entirely thick for ship of it's size, the armor is equally distributed in all it's firing arc facings.

The ship's 50 DropShip Collars dot the outside of the ship, giving it the ability to handle 325,000 colonists and 750,000 tons of cargo for establishing a colony.

In time of War, the ship would be able transport full Corp of 8 Divisions of Combat formations.
