History;
The Iron Golems started out as a minor independent Stable during the Civil War, though not earning many victories it made enough money to keep the lights on and mechs fighting. It was not until the Jihad era that the Iron Golems started seeing much more success not in the Arena, but through fighting the Blakist forces alongside the “Solaris Home Defense League”. After hard fighting the Blakists forces until Solaris was fully liberated, they received their fair share of the spoils and returned to their role as a Stable. However this was not to last as they began slowly sinking back into the minor role that they held before the invasion, and everyone in the stables realized they made more money and success fighting in the warzones, than in the arena. So they officially closed their stable for good and became a fully fledged Mercenary unit, mostly fighting for the FWL upon their inception. Though realizing that most of their Mechwarrior stock came from the pits and arenas of Solaris, they kept a small facility for recruitment and occasionally sponsorship of potential Mechwarriors.
Unit Colors;
The paint scheme standards of the Iron Golems are quite lax, the only requirement is the colors Yellow and Black must be prominent on the Battlemechs of the Company.
