Description

Inner Sphere Supplemental 3035 (Kaptyen Universe) is first twelfth entry in series of Fan-Made sourcebooks set in the The Kapteyn Universe (abbreviated TKU) created by Battletech Fan Matthew "Blacknova" Alexander. Set in the end of the Succession Wars era of the Kapteyn Universe, the aftermath of the events of first The Other Option novel, Kapteyn's First Strike which set after the AU's version of the Fourth Succession War.

The book captures years which we see the Inner Sphere now settling between 3033-3035, small series conflicts as nations continue change as Hegemony itself fight off shadows its past.

The book acts as guide for players whom may want run a campaign, as the the Inner Sphere reels in the wake the emergence of the Terran Hegemony and other changes causes by the war.

""Only two years have passed since the Hegemony Intelligence Directorate took stock of the Inner Sphere, but much has changed. Entire states have fallen, wars of revenge have been waged, and ComStar’s ghosts returned to haunt the people of Terra.

While the chaos swirled, the leaders of Terra have been forced to come to terms with the existence of a power that could rival their own, as Kerensky’s descendants prepare for their return to the Inner Sphere.

The Kapteyn Universe is a FanFiction alternate setting for the BattleTech Universe, 'crafted by many hands across 13 years.

Inner Sphere Supplement: 3035 provides an overview of the period from 3032 to 3034, covering major events, players, and campaigns. Also provided are national summaries, an in depth review of the new Martial Olympiads and an Overview of the Terran Hegemony."

Author's Description of the AU

This is an alternate timeline story starting from 3022, which rewrites the lead up too, and outbreak of the 4th Succession War.

It is based firstly on the side bar on page 57 of the original House Marik Sourcebook, but quickly diverges into an alternate
reaction by ComStar and the Kapteyn powers. I had an epiphany that started with the question “What if…”. What if Marik, Kurita,
and Liao had struck first, before Davion and Steiner were ready, all manipulated by ComStar.

The 4th War is now a very different beast, and what comes after has completely changed the balance of power in the Inner Sphere.

The results of the invasions were gamed out and the story of the alternate war slowly written as we progressed the results of the war, using a highly detailed version of Succession Wars/Inner Sphere in Flames.
