How did we end up here? is a character driven BattleTech fan story centered a person whom woke up one day to find she has two sets memories; One of the past (our time), and where herself as failed MechWarrior the BattleTech Universe. Where unlike many fortunate people in similar stories transported into setting with amazing abilities, main character finds herself having left to be scrapping through life she had been handed to her to try to survive.
This is a Iseka style story, which was used start was generated using a Battletech Fanfiction, inspired by CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) from Fitzgerald.

- Guy get transported into Battletech and stuff happen to him. Focus on more slice of life aspect of a merc and while combat does happen the Inner Sphere does have it calm moments where you wonder if you are going to get a job.

The year is 3026, groggy waking from a sleep Alexia finds herself she isn't who was. She was a man from early 21st Century, and awaken in techno future which was fictional gaming universe known as BattleTech.
