The first in the C-969 tilt-rotor series including the Spooky, Combat Talon, and Combat Shadow, the Hercules is OPFOR's crowning achievement. It has seen service in most Successor State militaries, with production licenses being granted to dozens of small manufacturers. Never the leader of the charge, the Hercules instead takes a personnel and supply transport role, also having the ability to transport light vehicles. It is especially popular with fast-moving regiments with a need for fast resupply and a healthy respect for the ability to drop a full Motorized Infantry battalion with a wing of transports.

Though not boasting any direct offensive weaponry, the Hercules still mounts a Guardian ECM Suite and Anti-Missile System for self-defense.

  • MC-969J Combat Shadow-lightly-armed variant for combat insertions.
  • MC-969H Combat Talon-more heavily-armed variant used for light support and escorting unarmed transports.
  • AC-969U Spooky-extremely heavily-armed gunship conversion suited for destroying nearly any surface target. It mounts a massive AC/20, one of the only aircraft to do so.
