Field Report: LCAF (Kaptyen Universe) is the sixth entry in series of Fan-Made sourcebooks set in the The Kapteyn Universe (abbreviated TKU) created by Battletech Fan Matthew "Blacknova" Alexander. Set in the end of the Succession Wars era of the Kapteyn Universe, the aftermath of the events of first The Other Option novel, Kapteyn's First Strike which set after the AU's version of the Fourth Succession War.

The report is written as in-universe intelligence report from originally written by Terran Hegemony's Hegemony Intelligence Bureau covering nation's bordering nation, the Lyran Commonwealth
The Field Report: LCAF focus on state of the armed forces Lyran Commonwealth in wake of the reborn Terran Hegemony emerging reborn as ambers of Fourth Succession War flick off and rest of Inner Sphere reels from the changes it's emergence has caused.
The book acts as guide for players whom may want run a campaign, as the the Inner Sphere reels in the wake the emergence of the Terran Hegemony and other changes causes by the war.
