Terran Hegemony (Periphery)
Over the 3 years, many changes took place in the Terran Hegemony. Industrial increases fed an ever-growing military but also fueled an ever-increasing civilian economy. While the Hegemony absorbed the 10 new systems, peacefully except on Gaeri where the Combine faction had fought for 5 months before their final defeat. General Mitchell allowed ZaP Shipping to continue operations outside the Hegemony borders, they operated as free traders and accepted goods or resources as payment. Bringing the 10 new systems into the Hegemony and building their infrastructure put a strain on the Hegemony economy, not to mention stretched the SLDF thin.
It took a full year to complete the upgrades to the Vincent Corvettes to Destroyers. They had revamped the ships coolant system mounting 1000 Double Heat Sinks. The Ferro Carbide armor was increased to 335 tons, which tripled protection. A thousand tons of fuel were added to help extend operational range. The new design kept the LF Batteries and Mobile HPG. The weapons system was completely revamped, double Barracuda Launchers w/20 shots were mounted in the NOSE, while 2 NAC/10 w/50 shots each arc and 6 Large Lasers covered the FLS/FRS arcs. The ALS/ARS and AFT arcs contained 4 NL/55 and 6 Large Lasers. The LBS/RBS contained 3 NAC/20 w/60 shots each arc and 6 Large Lasers. Cargo was decreased to 58,432 tons.

Tramp Class JumpShip
The SLS Midnight Dancer, Potemkin-Class Transport had been completed in 2776, first of the new configuration used with SLS Mighty Lift. It was assigned to the 280th Mechanized Infantry Division. In 2777, all 3 Builder Yardships were started and completed in a year. General Mitchell after consulting with Admiral Tanaka had suspended Warship Construction. The Shipyard at Thazi and the 2 at Linden had begun to produce Tramp Jumpships at a rate of 9 per year with 18 completed by Dec 2778. These were assigned to Conventional RCT's which freed up the Star Lord Jumpships for Independent Regiment and Divisional Transports.
Terran Hegemony Industrial Report 2776-2778[]
Industrial growth had seen a huge increase as factory's came online and workers increased in experience. Several additional Lion models were designed after feedback from Line Commanders. The first had been a Heavy Armor transport version able to carry a full Battalion of 36 Heavy Tanks with 555 tons of cargo. The second version was a Light Armor version able to carry 2 Battalions of 72 Light Tanks and 555 tons of cargo. Both were put into construction at the ever-enlarging Hegemony Aerospace complex on Ceibu. Hegemony Industries on Blommestein came online mid 2776 manufacturing Battlemechs, Vehicles and Aerospace Fighters.

Vought Aircraft had designed a version of Cobra VTOL mounting 4 lift hoists to utilize air mobile lift operations. Primarily designed for use by the only Jump Infantry Division in the SLDF forces. It could even lift a 60 ton Battlemech over hostile ground but suffered a serious reduction in it's speed.
Star League Defense Force Status as of 2776-2778[]
The Newgrange-Class Yardship, SLS Salvation, had spent a year in the Schrim system recovering both Carrack Transports. Bringing them to jump capability, they were returned to Thazi and completed their repairs. The addition of the 2 Carrack Transports were just a small part of the expansion the SLDF underwent over the years.

The 22nd Patrol Squadrons divisions did not have senior officers since they operated in pairs patrolling the long borders of the Hegemony. General Rita Mitchell had again put on hold her plans to reactivate another Division, having formed the 52nd Infantry Division, the 191st Royal Jump Infantry Division. Though they had brought another 4 Conventional RCT's online, it was not enough and she planned another 4-6 Conventional RCT's to be added. Once that was done, it would release more Divisions from purely garrison duties.
Equipment wise, all the Conventional RCT's were fully upgraded. Work refitting Battlemechs, Tanks and Aerospace Fighters was an ongoing and never-ending affair.

The newly formed 191st Royal Jump Infantry Division was still under strength with it's 1913rd Brigade still forming and the LAM Regiment still being put into service. The LAM's had been a surprise when discovered aboard one of the Carrack Transports. The temperamental LAM's had forced them to assign a full Support Battalion to each LAM Battalion. The Divisions VTOL Brigade was also still under strength. All Battlemechs had to be 86kph or faster and jump capable. Everything in the 191st Royal Jump Infantry Division was air mobile, up to and including the Battlemechs. Assigned as the Army's Rapid Response, it was assigned a Potemkin Transport.

The 277th Dragoon Regiment prefers to get in close and mix it up with an enemy. All attempts to get them to accept new machines has failed, preferring their tried and true designs. But every member knows it is only a matter of time before they are forced to do so, as there are very few replacement Battlemechs if they lose any. They consider themselves a Heavy Assault Regiment without the artillery support.

The 2391st Royal Independent Aero Wing is permanently assigned to Linden in defense of the Deep Spin Operation. Such a vital installation, it wants for nothing and is equipped with the finest equipment the Hegemony can provide.
There are now 7 DOME Teams in operation across the Hegemony. Their current mission is to improve the agriculture situation of every system if it is possible. This is a long term mission since it takes many years to raise a planets agriculture production even one level of improvement. They also construct and repair the Hegemony's HPG grid as needed. Though not technically part of the Hegemony's SLDF, they work so closely with them that they might as well be.
