What Price Glory? is part of a series of short stories featuring the Dead Man's Hand mercenary unit written by fan writer, JA Baker and features elements of from Kowloon Stories written by Cannonshop. The name of the story is play on canon Battletech Novel, What is the Price of Glory.
JA Baker tells the story of the Dead Man's Hand, a mercenary group whom specializes in specialty jobs. A Lance size mercenary unit whom having remarkable luck & skill to survive encounters with the Clans many a time.
What Price Glory revolves around efforts of the Second Star League launching their invasion of Clan Smoke Jaguar's Occupation Zone, where Dead's Man Hand has been hired assist in Operation Bulldog, fighting the Jaguars.

Some people requested an expansion of what kind of mayhem Joker and her band of merry reprobates got up to, so here we are. It will contain elements, locations, characters and themes often found in Cannonshop's "Ngo/Kowloon" stories (with his permission), so a passing familiarity with those may help, but will hopefully be unnecessary.

The name of the story was chosen by the author on purpose to different it from the canon Battletech novel, The Price of Glory.
