Family Values is part of a series of short stories featuring the Dead Man's Hand mercenary unit written by fan writer, JA Baker and features elements of from Kowloon Stories written by Cannonshop.
JA Baker tells the story of the Dead Man's Hand, a mercenary group whom specializes in specialty jobs. A Lance size mercenary unit whom having remarkable luck & skill to survive encounters with the Clans many a time.
Family Values story focus is on Joker, the leader of the company who pregnant is giving birth to a child from lover who had died on their last assignment. Story unfolds what fate has in store for them as they wait for unexpected new arrival.

Some people requested an expansion of what kind of mayhem Joker and her band of merry reprobates got up to, so here we are. It will contain elements, locations, characters and themes often found in Cannonshop's "Ngo/Kowloon" stories (with his permission), so a passing familiarity with those may help, but will hopefully be unnecessary.
