BattleMechs[]
While he would initially pilot a Vulture Mk IV B when he first started serving as an active MechWarrior with the Buccaneers, Adam would soon inherit the ancestral BattleMechs of the Crowe family from his uncle Greyson.
"Mordhau"[]
"Mordhau" would be the first of the Crowe family 'Mechs Adam would inherit, being granted to him in 3140. Using the 'Mech during his final year of tutelage under his uncle, Adam quickly grew extremely fond of the machine, and even after inheriting "Hellhammer" and "Deathblow" when his uncle died of a stroke the following year "Mordhau" would in large part remain Adam's primary and signature steed.
Originally a late Star League-era BL-6-KNT Black Knight found in the private collection of a Lyran noble by his great-grandfather during the latter years of the Third Succession War, "Mordhau" and its sister 'Mechs "Hellhammer" and "Deathblow" would each see multiple refits over the decades, mostly while in the ownership of Adam's grandfather, Halvorson. Following the end of the initial Clan Invasion in 3052, "Mordhau" would slowly start to be outfitted with a small array of salvaged Clan weapons: first a Type 22 ER PPC stripped from a Warhawk C in 3052, followed by a pair of Series PPS-XIX medium pulse lasers and a Chi Series small pulse laser taken from a Clan Smoke Jaguar stockpile during Operation BULLDOG in 3059. Finally, "Mordhau" and its sister 'Mechs would each undergo a significant overhaul in 3076, a bonus courtesy of Clan Diamond Shark, meant as a means to sweeten the fateful deal brokered that year between them and the Bloody Buccaneers. In addition to its existing Clan weaponry, this overhaul would see the 'Mech outfitted with two Series 2b ER medium lasers and a pair of Series 7K ER large lasers linked into an advanced targeting computer (along with the pre-existing ER PPC and pulse lasers), seventeen Clan double heat sinks and 11 tons of Forging AM15 Clan ferro-fibrous armor, and lastly a Clan Active Probe and Clan ECM suite.
Along with its sister 'Mechs, Adam would largely leave "Mordhau" in that same 3076 configuration, just as Greyson had, as even decades later it was still highly competitive with advanced BattleMech designs of the Dark Age and ilClan eras.
