A Question of Greatness (SI) is a character driven BattleTech fan story centered around young woman named Logan Axe, a minor noble from the Periphery world of Detroit, wakes up with the memories of Logan Axe, corporate shark from the 21st century city of Detroit.
Add in some Lostech and the interference of something that just wants to watch the mice dance, and suddenly things start to get very interesting in lawless wild west of the unclaimed worlds of the Periphery.

Author's Introduction[]
Just this past year I've gotten into the BT universe, mostly through fanfics and the HBS-Battletech PC game, MW5 (MechWarrior 5) and MWO (MechWarrior Online) games. I kinda love this universe of big stompy robots and have wanted to write a long fic set in the universe for a little while now. However I'll be the first to admit my knowledge of this vast universe is limited and piecemeal at best. If you spot any errors or obvious problems, let me know and I'll do my best to correct them.
This story, I'm not sure how to classify. It's a kinda-sorta SI (Self Insertion)-ish story, without the SI being about me? With a bit of ROB thrown in though that part won't be too important throughout most of the story as it currently stands. I do my best to make the story interesting and an entertaining read in any case so I hope you will enjoy it whatever your feelings about the tropes I'm playing with here.
