Though the Jaws of Defeat: A BattleTech Report is a Fan-Made created scenario book written by Leevizer. This a tabletop playable scenario that shows player lances which fought one another. While the results of original scenario are published, players are encouraged game out this scenario for themselves and enjoy battle for themselves
Summary: The scenario is continuation of the mercenary group known as the Carmine Company, focus on the Command Staff as their assigned mission garrison in Karkkila System. However the system two inhabitable worlds with rivalry between them. Duke of Karkkila Prime dispatches his Kommandos to raid the neighboring world, placing the bullseye on Carmine Company.
The book was designed using the Battletech: Instant Action supplement rules (by Rawbert413) for it's scenario tracks. The book also can be used with Chaos Campaign / Warchest Points system, the scenario is design for lance size forces.
