Chapter 100 - A Long Journey[]
28 June 2788
Terra (Terran Hegemony)
Colonel Milton Wolson, commander 112th Royal Hussar Regiment, read the message and handed the message to the Star Lord's commander. She read the message and gave the order for the small fleet to make the jump to Caph. Every member of the new 112th Royal Hussar Regiment and the ships crews were all former SLDF that had never left the Terran Hegemony, but damned sure did not like the way things were going. Their recruitment had been fairly easy, especially when Major General Hayes had explained what General Mitchell was doing along with him honoring the SLDF pension. Though she had been quite clear that any attempt to break their word on joining General Mitchell and his forces would be cause for her to "hunt them until every one of them was dead".
Colonel Wolson had put the word out for every surviving member of the original 112th Royal Hussar to reenlist had been a success with over 80% rejoining the command. The remaining ranks had been filled with General Hayes' hand picked people with a large technical support staff. In addition to his three Battlemech Battalions he also had two Mechanized Infantry Battalions and over 1,000 support troops. After his final briefing before waiting at Terra's Nadir Jump Point, he understood why so many support troops. His equipment makeup was no where close to SLDF regulations and it barely felt Royal to him.
112th Royal Hussar Regiment
-24 Thug, THG-11E
-12 Bombardier, BMB-12D
-36 Crab, CRB-27sl
-24 Banshee, BNC-3M
-12 Bombardier, BMB-12D
All of the Banshee were former Rim World machines that had been warehoused since their defeat. They were weak, but they were operational at least. The Bombardier he liked only because it could use Swarm ammunition but they only had 240 tons of it issued to them. Other than that, it was a total turd. He liked the Thugs and Crabs even if they were not Royal machines.
5 July 2788 Caph (Terran Hegemony)
On landing, the 112th Royal Hussar Regiment moved quickly to secure their intended targets. Lucky for them, the local militia did not resist and even helped them. Their targets were Lang Industries Royal Shadow Hawk production lines, New Earth Trading's Alacorn VI production lines, Holden Planetary Engineers water purification production lines, General Systems Exterminator production lines, Pfizzeler Chemicals and DB Bowins Pharmaceuticals. At least one Battlemech line of each was to be taken with them, the rest were to be returned to Terra.
16 July 2788
Colonel Milton Wolson gave the order to boost. They had not been gentle at all in removing what they wanted. Pfizzeler Chemicals and DB Bowins Pharmaceuticals literally ceased to exist on Caph as their factories had been stripped bare, though over two days he had convinced most of the employees to join them or take their chances with one of the Houses. Lang Industries had lost their four Royal Shadow Hawk lines, with two being loaded for return to Terra. New Earth Trading lost all four of their Alacorn VI production lines with two being shipped to Terra. General Systems lost their sole Exterminator EXT-4C line and both EXT-4Db lines, with only one EXT-4Db heading back to Terra. This only left them with a single empty Mammoth to complete their next assigned operation.

Carver IV (Terran Hegemony)
"You can either help us so that we minimize the damage or we rip the stuff we want out, your choice." Colonel Milton Wolson said to the HildCo Interplanetary factory manager.
"This is illegal seizure."
"Take it up with Comstar. Make a choice, help us and continue some business or don't help us and you might not have a factory left." Colonel Wolson said
After that conversation, one of four Pillager production lines and one of four Victor production lines were pulled from HildCo's factory over five days. The same message had been delivered to Brooks Inc's Ironside factory who lost a single Ironside production line. All were loaded on the empty Mammoth when they departed on 6 August.
