The 20th Benjamin Regulars were a BattleMech regiment of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, one of the Benjamin Military District's assigned regiments under the Benjamin Regulars brigade. Originally destroyed during the Second Succession War, the regiment was later reestablished in 3086, shortly after the Combine's loss of the Dieron Military District to the then-newly formed Republic of the Sphere. Like other regiments within the Benjamin Regulars, while the 20th was originally considered a second-rate unit, they earned significant experience and respect fighting in campaigns against forces of the Rasalhague Dominion throughout the Republic era.
